R2 Stewardship Company logos are currently FREE. Our recycling fees are well below any other R2(TM) or e-Stewards (TM) certified recycling facilities fees based in Colorado. Due to current and changing laws in Colorado on the State and Federal level, the face of electronic recycling in Colorado will change forever. On July 1st, 2013 Senate Bill 12-133 will officially begin. The law is a ban, the ban states that electronics can no longer be thrown in our trash or landfills. State agencies must utilize a recognized R2 or e-Stewards Certified Recycler.

R2 Stewardship supports Senate Bill 12-133 Our goal is to assist in diverting thousands of pounds of electronic waste (e-waste) from our Colorado landfills but we can't do this alone. SB12-133 will simulate job growth in Colorado as all 64 Colorado counties will need workers from all backgrounds and skill levels to help in their communities to collect, handle and process this material in a responsible manner. APRIL 2012 SENATE BILL 133 "Electronic Recycling Jobs Act" Henry Renteria-Vigil from Certified Recycling Company, R2 Stewardship, along with other
electronic recyclers from Colorado were invited to witness the signing of Senate
Bill-133 (SB-133) which is an e-waste ban from Colorado landfills. This
bill states that all government judicial branches and all higher
education institutions in Colorado will need to utilize an R2 (TM) or
e-Stewards (TM) Certified Recyclers starting July 1, 2013. This will simulate job growth in
Colorado as Certified Recyclers are few and much work will need to be
done. This will also encourage other Colorado recyclers to become certified.
